About us

We are strongly established in our city, Trieste, and in its territory which goes beyond state borders.

In fact Slovenian Istria , Croatian Istria and Rijeka together with north-east Italy including Udine and Venice are as one unique part of this world.

Trieste is the most north- eastern city in Italy on the Adriatic Sea, rich in history and culture, combining the austrian-hungarian architecture with the italian lifestyle.

Trieste is strongly related to the sea, as it has always been a port and trading place (Tergeste, the ancient roman name means market place), and it has a strong history in shipbuilding and logistics. Just for example , Mr Joseph Ressel invented the modern propeller; the Cosulich family with their ships and founders of the Monfalcone shipyard ; Mr Carlo Ghega which was the main engineer for the pioneering railway connecting Trieste with the capital (at that time) Vienna.

Following the tradition of our history , we in Alta Trade have been working to link people which are separated by borders and we do it in the best way we know : trading with professionality, passion and responsability.

Thanks to this background our small reality is now linking people from the Atlantic Sea to the Pacific Sea through the Mediterranean Sea, sharing the same values of life and work.

1992 | Establishment

Establishing of the individual Company by our President Mr. Alessandro Tanac.

1993 | Factory enlargment

Investing the profits in buying new site for the Company.

1993 | New entry

New partner joint Mr. Tanac, our Vice president Mr. Mauro Delconte developing the shipbuilding and shipyards supplies.

1994 | Growing

Becoming a Limited Company.

1997 | New business

Starting new business in retail sales for sanitary hardware and furnitures . Buying new shop and show room in the city centre

1999 | New business sector

Starting new business for carpentry and installations for naval and civil buildings.

2001 | Growing

Increase of the share capital.

2002 | New business sector

Obtaining GTT (Gaz Transport and Technigaz – France) licence for the production and sales of plywood for LNG purposes according to MARKIII.

2002 | Growing

Obtaining GTT licence for the production and sales of plywood for LNG purposes according to CS1 system

2003 | Investments

Investing in new office and warehouse which is the new location of the Company

2006 | New business sector

Estabilishing of Alta Informatica, for production and sales of PC and hardwares and installation of intranet lines.

2008 | Growing

Starting the project for sales and installation of box factory (LNG ship NO96 system ) for potential far-east shipbuilder.

2009 | New marketing strategies

Starting marketing strategy with Tubus doo for marketing of shipbuilding steel pipelines and penetration pipes.

2011 | New acquisitions

Obtained contract for supply/installation/training of Box Plant for Korean LNG shipbuilder

2013 | New acquisitions

Becoming regular supplier for pipeline penetration pipes for main Italian Shipyard.

Creating of Railway division to promote RS Clare lubricants and greases

2018 | Restructuring the company

2022 | Acquiring important order

Acquiring important order for refurbished of antiskid on eight ships for an important shipowner
